I found Magic Coffee Truck on Instagram. The IG has been a wonderful source of cool pictures, interesting people and new friends for me. Sharon - the founder - ran a contest called Magic to Me. I entered. Didn't win, but she had some consolation prizes. The cool goodies I got included two bottles of her upcoming Awesome Sauce. It's a cold brew coffee infusion, though I suppose you already knew that because it's right there on the labels. Got some stickers too - some of those are on my notebook. Buttons - there were a couple more but I gave the kid and her friend one.
Anyway... "Magic Coffee Truck is an Atlanta-based mobile coffee experience featuring artisan cold brewed coffee along with local snack creations that provide intrigue, adventure, and discovery in every moment." They have a mobile rig that serves good coffee on draft and you can hire them for events. Soon they will also sell the Awesome Sauce.
So what is this sauce? It's a wonderful blend of coffee, cinnamon and cayenne. It comes in normal and spicy. The spicy one was still pretty mild by my standards, but that's not a good way to judge. My version of "spicy" is most people's version of "Inedible". Either way, both were OMG good. Another Instagram friend got a sample as well and she had the same reaction....too good to share. I'm not saying I won't share, but only after I order enough bottles to feed my own need.
I mixed both of mine with raw, whole milk - which I drink because it has a nice clean taste. It blended perfectly and made a great drink for relaxing and crocheting. After it's available again I'm going to make a milkshake with some. mmmmmmmmmmmmm And maybe some in a syrup for waffles. So many plans!
Keep an eye on the website. As things progress, updates are posted. Order some. You will thank me. I prefer thank all thank yous and general acts of worship to be in the form of donuts. LOL
